Summary: Director Linshan Zhao's historical action drama focuses on two assassination attempts on the life of a prominent Chinese warlord. Set in the late 210s, shortly before the fall of the Han Dynasty, the story follows the later years of Cao Cao (Yun-Fat Chow), a fearsome warlord who over previous decades has gained complete domination of his rivals. But unknown to Cao Cao, a group of his enemies have been plotting against him for years, recruiting the children of his dead opponents and training them as assassins.
